These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of https://uaworkers.ca(the “Website”), operated by Ukraine Workers Corp.(“Ukraine Workers”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms.
What we do
Ukraine Workers is a home services platform that connects homeowners with independent renovation and repair crews (“partner contractors”) across Southwestern Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area. When you submit a request, we use your details to prepare an estimate and to refer your job to a partner contractor who can carry out the work.
Estimates are not a binding offer
Any estimate, quote, or price range we or a partner contractor provide is indicative only. It is based on the information you give us and is not a binding offer or contract. The final scope, price, and schedule are agreed directly between you and the contractor who performs the work, typically after an on-site assessment.
Work performed by third parties
Partner contractors are independent third parties, not our employees or agents. We do not perform the renovation work ourselves and are not a party to the contract between you and a contractor. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, workmanship, timeliness, or conduct of any contractor. You are responsible for satisfying yourself that a contractor is suitable before engaging them, and any dispute about the work is between you and that contractor.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and our referral service are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Ukraine Workers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from work performed by a partner contractor. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable Ontario or Canadian law.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact and project information when you submit a request.
- Only submit a request for a property you own or are authorized to represent.
- Use the Website lawfully and not attempt to disrupt or misuse it.
Intellectual property
All content on this Website — including text, logos, images, and design — is owned by Ukraine Workers Corp. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse it without our written permission.
Privacy
Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
